About an interesting article from the newspaper........

Today morning i was reading a newspaper , there I saw one article saying "uses of animals ". As our science project topic was uses & care of animals I became more curious & I read the entire article ,to make it more fun I add few pictures from Google . It is a very interesting article &  I would like you'll to read it.

Agriculture  is the cultivation of animals, plants, fungi , and other life forms for  food,fiber, biofuel, medicines  and other products used to sustain and enhance human life.Agriculture was the key development in the rise of human civilization , whereby farming of domesticated species created food surpluses that nurtured the development of civilization.The study of agriculture is known as agricultural science . The History of agriculture dates back thousands of years, and its development has been driven and defined by greatly different Climates, culture and technologies. However, all farming generally relies on techniques to expand and maintain the lands that are suitable for raising domesticated species. For plants, this usually requires some form of irrigation, although there are methods of dryland farming.

Dairy farming is a class of agriculture for long-term production of milk, which is processed (either on the farm or at a dairy plant, either of which may be called a dairy) for eventual sale of a dairy.

Poultry farming is the raising of domesticated animals such as Chicken,ducks,turkey and geese for the purpose of farming meat or eggs for food. Poultry are farmed in great numbers with chickens being the most numerous. More than 50 billion chickens are raised annually as a source of food, for both their meat and their eggs.Chickens raised for eggs are usually called layers while chickens raised for meat are often called broilers.

USES OF ANIMALS 🐮🐂🐟🐫🐅

We all know animals provide milk,meat,etc. In the same way they r also used to help with the farm work that involves physical labour. For thousands of years we have used cow dung pats as fuel. Cattledung has also been traditionally used as a fuel. The biogas technology has recently been developed to yield both fuel as well as fertilizer.

Primitive man used animals as food. He also began to use animal skins to protect himself from the heat,cold,& rain. Even today skins of dead animals are used to make many useful articles such as purses, belts water-skins, a horse harness, footware, etc. bones of dead animals are also used to be of use. They are used to make fertilizers known as ' bone meal' , as also needles, combs and other ornamental articles. The substances separated from bones before making fertilizers is used to obtain glue or gelatine. Man has been keeping animals&birds down the ages for a variety of purposes.
